A Model’s Guide To Los Angeles
Los Angeles has always felt like one of those cities where I slip right back into myself. Something about the pace, the light, the creative energy, it all just clicks for me. Whether I’m in town for work, a quick stay, or a little personal reset, I tend to fall into my same rhythm and revisit the places that help me feel centered, inspired, and ready for whatever the week brings.
I’m sharing the spots I return to again and again, the hotels that feel like home, the restaurants that are always worth the reservation, the studios that help me feel aligned, and the quiet moments that make the city feel grounding instead of overwhelming.
If you’re heading to LA soon or just wanting to switch up your routine, these are the places I’d tell any friend to add to their list. Slip into something comfortable, throw your essentials in your bag, and let’s do LA the way models actually do it: intentional, stylish, and with a sense of ease.
Where To Stay
Palihouse West Hollywood
Palihouse West Hollywood is one of my favorite places to stay in LA. It sits right on West 3rd Street and has that quiet, stylish feel that makes you feel tucked away even though you are close to everything. The design is relaxed and cool with vintage touches, warm textures, and a courtyard that always feels inviting no matter what time of day it is. What I love most is how easy it is for short stays. If you are bouncing between castings, a shoot, or just in town for a quick reset, the rooms feel spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. Everything you need is already there, and it has the kind of atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease when you walk in. It is also in the perfect location. You can be at The Grove, Melrose, or any of the nearby studios within minutes. And the lobby cafe is such a simple luxury before heading out. Their burger and spritz combo is one of my favorites.
Restaurants You Must Try
Cecconi’s
Cecconi’s is always at the top of my list when someone asks where to eat in LA. It has that relaxed, polished feel that fits West Hollywood perfectly. It sits just off Melrose, and it works for everything from a long lunch to a dressed up dinner that somehow turns into hours of conversation. The first time I ate there was on the garden patio, and I instantly fell in love with the setting. The lights, the olive trees, the entire atmosphere feels elevated without trying too hard. The menu is classic Italian done the right way. The truffle pasta and zucchini fritti are staples for me, and their spritzes never miss. It can definitely be a scene, but in the best way. You will see a mix of industry people, creatives, locals, and friends catching up over good food. If you are visiting LA or just want a new spot that always feels chic and consistent, Cecconi’s is an easy yes.
Zinque
Zinqué has become one of my favorite everyday spots. It is casual but still feels elevated, which is exactly what I want when I want a cute atmosphere without putting too much thought into the outfit. It sits right off Melrose and has that relaxed European feel that makes it easy to settle in for a little reset. I like it for slow mornings or a quiet break in the afternoon, and I almost always order one of the tartines. The smoked salmon is my go to. It is also very dog friendly, which is a huge plus. I bring Paris with me often and sit on the patio. The staff is always sweet to her, and she loves laying in the sun while I answer emails or take a moment between castings.
Places You Must Visit
The RealReal
The RealReal on Melrose is always one of my must-stop places when I am in LA. I go when I want styling inspiration, when I am hunting for a special piece, or when I just want a quiet moment surrounded by beautiful things. There is something really fun about walking through the space and spotting vintage finds, unique accessories, or a dream bag you have been thinking about for months. The layout is clean, curated, and easy to shop. The staff makes you feel welcome without any pressure, which is rare and refreshing. I like stopping in after lunch nearby or whenever I need a little reset. It is the kind of place where you can browse, get inspired, and sometimes leave with something that feels like it was waiting for you.
Workouts You Must Try
John Reed West Hollywood
John Reed in West Hollywood is one of the most energizing gyms I have ever worked out in. The first time I walked in, it felt like a mix of a nightclub and a luxury fitness space, and it instantly made me want to train harder. It is right off Sunset, which makes it convenient if you are moving between castings, errands, or meetings. The energy is what sets it apart. There is a DJ during peak hours, the lighting is moody, and the interiors feel more like an art space than a traditional gym. It genuinely makes you want to show up. They also have a sauna, an open-air cardio area, and a rooftop pool, which gives you a full experience beyond just a workout.
Be Kind Studio Pilates
Be Kind Pilates is one of the few studios that feels calming the moment you walk in. It sits in a quiet part of West Hollywood, and the space is light, minimal, and very peaceful. I started going during a busy season when I needed something that felt grounding, and it quickly became a favorite.
The workouts are low impact but very intentional. You feel every movement in the best way, with deep muscle engagement and slow, controlled work that stays with you throughout the day. The instructors are hands on in a supportive way and genuinely care about how your body is moving. I always leave feeling stronger, more aligned, and much lighter both physically and mentally.
Los Angeles has so many places that help you move with purpose, eat well, and feel like your best self when you know where to go. Whether you are here for a quick shoot, staying for a season, or just craving a reset, having spots that support your body and mind makes a huge difference.
From energizing workouts to cozy cafes, from chic dinners to calm places to stay, these are the locations that have helped me feel grounded, balanced, and connected in a city that never slows down. I hope this guide introduces you to a few new favorites or helps you revisit familiar spots with a fresh perspective. I would love to hear your go to places in LA that make you feel inspired, confident, and centered.
